Subgrades:

Corners: 9.35

• The front corners are remarkably well-preserved for a 13-year-old UR. However, microscopic inspection of the reverse reveals pinpoint whitening on the top-left and bottom-right tips. There is no evidence of structural peeling, but the age-related whitening is visible.

Edges: 9.30

• The high-polish foil edges show minimal "silvering" on the front. On the back, there are two tiny nicks on the right-hand side. These are likely factory-cutting artifacts rather than wear from machine use, but they merit a 0.70 deduction.

Surface: 9.50

• The complex textures of this UR are in great condition. There is one very shallow vertical hairline scratch on the back's blue ink field, only visible under direct light. The front remains free of scuffs or "waxing" common in vintage sets.

Centering: 9.40

• On the front, the artwork is shifted slightly toward the right border. On the reverse, the "Dragon Ball Heroes" logo is slightly high and shifted toward the left (approx. 58/42). This is very respectable for a 2012 production run.

Grading Summary

This HG2-49 Janemba is an outstanding vintage specimen. Finding high-rarity cards from over a decade ago in this condition is rare, as most were played extensively in arcade machines.
