Centering 8.8: The front is well-aligned, just a hair thicker on the right. The back is where it lost the most points, with a noticeable shift to the left that's common on these promos. Corners 9.8: Three of the four corners look perfect to the naked eye. Under magnification, the back bottom-right is just a touch soft, which kept it from a perfect score. Edges 9.85: Super clean edges all around, front and back. A tiny bit of silvering was found on the back right edge, but it's only visible up close. Surface 9.6: The complex foil on the front is stunning and hides flaws well, but a faint vertical print line or two are present upon close inspection. The matte black back is exceptionally clean. With subgrades averaging to 9.51, this beautiful card earns a final grade of Near Flawless 9.5. This is a fantastic 'History of' promo from the 10th anniversary, and a 'Pearl' label is a huge achievement. Only the factory-common back centering held this stunner back from a run at Gem Mint.
