Centering 9: The front presentation is quite strong, nearly 50/50. The back is where this card takes a hit, with a noticeable shift to the left that's well outside Gem Mint tolerances. Corners 9: These corners are sharp to the naked eye, but under magnification, there's a whisper of softness or a micro-touch of white at all four tips, which adds up to keep it from the top tier. Edges 9.8: Really nice, clean edges all around, including the die-cut sections. I spotted one minuscule rough patch on the top back edge, but otherwise, they're as crisp as you could ask for. Surface 9.9: That signature 'Holiday Sweater' finish is gorgeous and clean. I couldn't find any distracting print lines, scratches, or scuffs on either the front or the back. With an average of 9.425, this card lands squarely as a Gem Mint 9. The off-center back and slightly soft corners are what held it back from a higher grade, but this is a fantastic, clean rookie card with great eye appeal.
