Centering 9.5: Great eye appeal here. The front is just a hair thicker on the right border, and the back is similarly a tiny bit off, but we're talking about a split that's barely 55/45. Very strong for a modern foil card. Corners 10: All four corners are textbook sharp. Exactly what you want to see on a modern rookie fresh from the pack. Edges 9.5: The edges are super clean and crisp all around, but one tiny chip on the bottom edge, visible in the close-up, held it back from a perfect score. An unfortunate but common factory flaw on these thick-stock cards. Surface 9.5: The reflective Phoenix foil is flawless, front and back. I couldn't find a single print line or surface mark, which is a big win for these notoriously sensitive black-bordered cards. With an average score of 9.625, this rookie card earns a beautiful Near Flawless 9.5! A tiny factory chip on the bottom edge was the only thing holding this one back from a shot at the Sapphire label. Still, a stunning card of a top pick with terrific eye appeal that will display like a champion. Congratulations on a top-tier grade!
