Centering 8.75: The front is solid, maybe a hair to the right, but the back is where this card lost most of its points. The left-to-right shift on the reverse is pretty common for this era, but it's enough to keep it out of the Gem Mint conversation. Corners 9.5: Three of the four corners are razor sharp, but that top-right has a minuscule touch of wear visible on both sides under magnification. It's tiny, but it's what separates a 9.5 from a potential 10. Edges 9.9: The edges on this card are beautiful. I can't find any silvering or chipping, which is great to see on a foiled card of this age. Looks like a factory-fresh cut. Surface 9.5: Fantastic surface for a card from 2012. The heavy foiling is clean and vibrant, and I can't spot any scratches or print defects even under the lights. It just pops. However, on the back, some microscopic print lines bring the grade down. With subgrades averaging out to 9.41, this classic baddie lands a fantastic Vintage 10 Ruby. This is a monster card from the early days of Dragon Ball Heroes, and getting a 'Pearl' label on the HG2 Baby SEC is a huge win. The back centering held it back from a higher grade, but the eye appeal is off the charts. Congratulations on a truly premium copy!
