Centering 9: Front centering is pretty solid, just a hair heavy on the left border. The back yellow frame shows a more noticeable left-to-right shift, which is typical for this era but keeps it out of the 9s. Corners 7.5: Front corners are sharp and present beautifully. However, that zoomed-in shot reveals a distinct touch of whitening on the back top-left tip, which dings the score here. Edges 7.5: The front edges look clean under the light. Flipping it over, you can spot some scattered chipping and whitening along the top back edge, a common issue with these older dark-bordered cards. Surface 8: The front foil still pops incredibly well for a 2004 release with great eye appeal. The unforgiving black background on the reverse does reveal some light scuffing and hairline scratches when you catch the light. This classic 2004 Dragon Ball Card Game Goku & Frieza piece averages out to an 8.0, earning a final grade of Great 8. The front eye appeal is fantastic, but typical back-edge wear and minor surface scuffs on the black reverse hold it back from a higher tier.
